iPhones have taken the market by storm and so has the App store. There are thousands of apps that you can use to perform a million different things. PeopleSoft hasn’t been spared either. Oracle iReceipts
Oracle iReceipts is the first Apple iPhone application for PeopleSoft Expenses. This app allows employees to capture cash transactions on the iPhone and iPod touch as they occur and easily submit these transactions to PeopleSoft Enterprise Expenses. iReceipts allows users to capture receipt images with the iPhone Camera and process them within the PeopleSoft Expenses solution. The app can also automatically tag transactions with a user’s location using location based features.
Succeed Consultancy – Absence App
Launched at the UKOUG PeopleSoft Conference by Succeed Consultancy, this app allows users to request and approve absences. The app is written in Objective C and connects to PeopleSoft via Web Services. The developers claim that any PeopleSoft functionality could be exposed in the same manner. Succeed is a UK based Oracle/PeopleSoft consultancy practice that specializes in full project life cycle implementations of large HCM, CRM, Time and Attendance, Payroll, and Financials applications within the context of Enterprise architectures for large blue chip companies.
